Mouawad Investment Group
Educated in the US with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and with a family exposure to real estate and contracting business, Joseph Mouawad brings a simple and efficient management style to real estate development business, empowering his management and allowing them the freedom to be creative and effective. In 1996 Joseph Mouawad established Mouawad Investment Group (MIG) a real estate developer and owner, with a 300% growth to date.

From 1991 – to date, MIG continued its growth from one project to the next, each featuring unique luxury aesthetics and practicality to suit all markets and enjoying prime locations. These include a professional edifice of luxury residential complexes, commercial projects, hotels and resorts with a total cost of around USD 350 million divided geographically in different areas in Lebanon:

  • Burj Al Ghazal, an office building in Tabaris, with a total built-up area of 23,000 Sqm;
  • Ehden Country Club, in Ehden, a summer resort with a total built-up area of 20,000 Sqm;
  • Parc Jadev, in Bsalim – Metn, a luxurious residential complex with a total built-up area of 10,000 Sqm;
  • Primavera, in Bsalim – Metn, a luxurious residential complex with a total built-up area of 10,000 Sqm.
  • La Plaza, in Bsalim – Metn, a commercial project with a total built up area of 26,379 Sqm;
  • Country Lodge, in Bsalim - Metn, a health club with a total built-up area of 20,000 Sqm;
  • Majzoub 755, in Bsalim - Metn an adapted residential project with a total built-up area of 2,500 Sqm;
  • Park Tower Suites, a suite hotel in Ashrafieh, with a total built-up area of 16,000 Sqm;
  • The Atrium, another major state of the art office and commercial building in the heart of Beirut Central District with a total built-up of area of 15,000 Sqm;
  • The Capital Gardens, a luxurious residential project in Mina El Hosn area, with a total built-up area of 10,000 Sqm. The project was successfully delivered in 2007;
  • The Pavilions, one of the most luxurious residential project in Wadi Abu Jmil area, with a total built up area of 18,000 Sqm. The project was successfully delivered in October 2008;
  • The Palladium, a luxurious mixed use development in the heart of the BCD – Mina El Hosn area, with 17,000 Sqm of total built up area. The project was successfully delivered by end 2010;
  • Saifi Pearl, residential project in the area of Jemmayze, with a total built-up area of 14,000 Sqm. The project was successfully delivered by end 2012;
    Close to Saifi Pearl, the Saifi Suites, a suite hotel. The project is operational since August 2012;
  • Oakridge, a luxurious private community mountain resort in Faqra – Kfardebiane, with a total built-up area of around 40,000 Sqm. The phase one of the project was successfully delivered by July 2013, whereas, phase two of the project is expected to be delivered by end of 2015.
  • Silver Rocks, a land development project in Faqra – Kfardebiane. The project is expected to be delivered by end 2012;
  • Jadev Residences, residential project in the area of Bsalim, with a total built-up area of 4,200 Sqm. The project is expected to be delivered by end 2014;
  • Finally, Monot 38, a luxurious Residential Tower in the area of Monot 38 with a total built-up area of 12,000 Sqm. The project is expected to be delivered by end of 2014; Mouawad Projects, has purchased a new land on Rue Pasteur in the area of Jemmayze, and is considering to develop a new project.

These projects were managed, executed and marketed through fully-owned subsidiary, Mouawad Business Associates, Sal, (MBA) which specializes in property development management.

MBA gathers specialized skills from marketing, finance, administrative, fiscal and accounting professionals to construction engineers, master planners, market researchers and sales programmers. It also provides property management services. Bolstered by its affiliation with several sister and subsidiary companies, all specializing in real estate and construction related activities, MIG enjoys a distinct synergy in the Lebanese market.
